Andrea ensures the core principles of Bluegrass Capital Advisors are the primary consideration for making all decisions about how we operate, who we bring onto our team, and who we partner with.
Her entire career has been in financial services, and she has broad experience managing teams focused on operations, client service, and business processing. Prior to joining Bluegrass Capital Advisors in 2023, she was:
- Chief Operating Officer at GCG Wealth Management
- Head of Business Development for National Accounts at Braver Wealth Management
- Director of Advisory Services at an investment advisory office
- Marketing Associate at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney
She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Quantitative Analysis from Gardner-Webb University.
Mother with a Love for the Mountains
Andrea, her husband Jonathan, son Colt, and daughter Piper reside in Charlotte, NC. Andrea first planted roots in North Carolina in 2002, when she moved from Ohio to Charlotte to attend Gardner-Webb University. She quickly came to love the weather and feeling of fully experiencing all four seasons of the year.
On the weekends, Andrea and her family retreat to the North Carolina mountains as often as they can. Waking up to crisp mornings in the mountain air with a warm cup of coffee with cinnamon helps her decompress.
When they stick closer to home, weekend evenings (once the little ones are in bed) are usually spent sitting on the couch, enjoying a glass of red wine, and watching a movie – unless there’s the opportunity for live music and child care.
Andrea’s love for the financial services industry and numbers came from her father’s love of racing horses. She spent many summers at a racetrack calculating odds while watching her father race.
