Director of Operations
Scott focuses on using and implementing systems, technology, and data that allows Bluegrass Capital Advisors to robustly serve its clients every day. His goal is to ensure the tools and information behind the scenes are clear, connected, and reliable.
He views data as the connective tissue that allows our firm to translate clients’ desires into concrete action plans – and then monitor progress, alleviate anxieties, and provide proactive updates along the way.
When he joined the Bluegrass Capital Advisors team in 2026, Scott brought around 15 years of experience in financial services, which spans operations, technology, marketing, accounting, and compliance. His previous firms include BlackRock, Equinox Funds, and Ampersand Investment Management. At each, he worked with data, reporting, and systems that support firm-wide operations and growth.
Scott earned a bachelor’s in business management from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a master’s in finance from the University of Rochester.
Weekend Wanderer
Scott is originally from Cleveland, OH, where he grew up and much of his family resides today.
He now lives in Charlotte, NC, where he moved in early 2026. He enjoys being close to everything the city has to offer.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with family and friends. He stays active through hiking, jogging, and getting outside whenever possible, and he appreciates the balance between the energy of the city and the chance to escape into nature. He also enjoys exploring his new home in Uptown and the South End, often walking everywhere.
On weekends, you will often find him at Bank of America Stadium watching a Charlotte Football Club or Carolina Panthers game, while still keeping up with his Cleveland sports teams and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Scott enjoys keeping up with new technology, especially when it helps make everyday life more efficient and powers his ability to plan trips or explore new places.
